What I love about the Italian people is that they are so passionate about food. Lunch is the most important meal of the day. No fast food for Italians. It would show that you do not respect yourself if you eat bad food or food that is not fresh. Meals made from the basics right the way up is the only way to go. Add to that the fact that Italy does not allow genetically modified hybrids in their fruit and vegetables, so here you will eat the best tasting produce on earth.

Dario Cecchini a butcher born and bred from a long line of Butchers in Panzano, a little village in Chianti, has become famous for his knowledge about meat and spreading his passionate knowledge of how to cut and the carcass and cook the meat to produce the maximum flavour there is to be found. He has opened his own restaurant across the road from the butcher shop and enjoyment of his food  and enjoyment in life is what he searches to produce for his customers. Typically Tuscan with a loud booming voice, he also is a lover of literature, especially Dante and is known to break into a quote from his poetry when serving his customers.
