Description

Each room is decorated in an individual style. This house is a temple to luxury and comfort. Guests can dine on delicious local food and wine and sleep deeply in over-sized beds among the finest soft cottons.

Situated on the border of Umbria and Tuscany, so during your stay, you will be able to discover hidden medieval villages of Umbria, but also see the well-known towns and sights of Tuscany. If your interests are historical, artistic or aesthetic, you will find a treasure not too far away. Below are some ideas for further exploration.

The Terrace has stunning views across the hills and valley and on a clear day the nearest ski mountain Monte Amiata can be seen. Guests can make their own pizza in the traditional wood oven.

Art and opera have married to produce a collection of 8 rooms, each deeply romantic and immaculately decorated in colours influenced by the 15th century painter Piero della Francesca, and their names inspired by operas and operatic characters. Single and twin rooms available on request and by prior arrangement.

TRAVIATA

This large and lovely Suite is on the first floor of the Hotel. Decorated with yellow and pale green colours, it has a luxurious bedroom with a fireplace and a king size bed; the spacious bathroom has a marble tub and a separate shower room.

BELLINI
This Suite offers a fantastic view over the hills of Umbria. Decorated with peach and grey colours, it has a large bedroom featuring a wrought iron super king size bed. The Suite has a working fireplace, a luxurious bathroom and a panoramic terrace.

VERDI

Verdi Suite is decorated with crystal green tones. The bedroom, overlooking the front of the palace, has a super king four poster
bed; the antique furnirute add a touch of elegance. The bathroom has both a bath and a shower.

VIOLETTA
This Suite, located at the second floor of the Palace, offers a beautiful view over the surrounding hills. The interiors are decorated with pale liliac tones, giving a romantic atmosphere to all the rooms. The spacious bedroom has a king size four poster bed, while the bathroom has both a bath and a shower.

BIBLIOTECA
As the name suggests (biblioteca is the italian for "library"), this original Suite is decorated with two original bookshelves of XVI century, filled with historical and classic books. The tones of pink and liliac are prevailing. The large bedroom has a double bed and a sitting area, just in front of a hand carved stone fireplace. From the balcony the guests can enjoy a wonderful view over the Umbrian landscape.

TROVATORE

This luxury Suite on the second floor of the palace is decorated in crushed raspberries tones. The bedroom has a wrought iron double bed and offers a beautiful view over the hills. There is a separate sitting room painted in soft raspberry and green. The bathroom has an en-suite shower room.

RIGOLETTO
Rigoletto is a room with an intimate atmosphere. Located on the second floor and decorated in soft plum and apricot tones, this Suite has a bedroom with a super king size bed and a sitting room with a panoramic terrace. The bathroom has an en-suite shower room.

BOHEME
The Boheme Suite, painted a warm faded terracotta, is located on the top floor with wonderful views of the valley. The bedroom has a super king size bed, while the bathroom has a shower room and a separate jacuzzi.
